This wine has a beautiful, deep purple hue. Scents of raspberry, graphite, leatther and earth float up to meet the nose in a full bouquet. At first sip, deep and full flavors of coffee, thyme, black currant and dark chocolate abound. Balanced acidity and integrated tannin carry this wine with flavors of warm spices through the finish. Pair this wine with rich and fatty meat, such as prime rib or beef burnt ends.
